PMA newsletter/office hours 22 December 2000 Kia ora, *** The latest PMA newsletter was posted yesterday and should be with you soon (Christmas post delays permitting) - it features the Visions of peace which people on the PMA database were invited to write at the turn of the century and from the Nuclear Free and Independent Pacific forums held on the Peace Boat in September 2000. It also has information on the UN Asia-Pacific Regional Disarmament conference which will be held in Wellington at the end of March 2001. Included in the mailing are the booking forms for the Waihopai spybase protest camp in January 2001, and the Summer School for Activism for Social Change at Kotare in February 2001. * If you are not on the PMA mailing list, the newsletter will be uploaded to our website tonight, and you will be able to read it over the weekend. The booking form for the Waihopai camp will not be available on the website, so please contact the Anti-Bases Campaign at [email protected] if you need one. The booking form for the Summer School for Activism for Social Change at Kotare will not be available on the website until January, so please contact [email protected] if you would like more information about that. *** PMA office hours - the PMA office will be open for less hours than usual from Friday 22 December until Monday 11 January. If you are emailing any alerts for circulating or events for the whats on listings, please make sure you type Urgent as the first word in the subject heading of your message. This will add to the chances that it will be noticed amongst the many messages which pile up when we download our email less frequently. *** Happy solstice, merry Christmas, safe journeys if you are travelling, and with very best wishes for the new year and for a restful peaceful holiday (if you are having one!), from everyone at PMA.
